The information we collect. We collect the information you give us when you make an enquiry through this website: your name, email address, phone number, company name where provided, your stay requirements (dates, destination, number of guests, budget and client type) and anything you include in a message. If you enquire as a property partner we also collect details about your properties. We collect limited technical information automatically, such as IP address and browser type, through cookies and analytics (see Cookies below).
How we use it. We use your information to respond to your enquiry, to source and arrange accommodation, to manage bookings and stays, to communicate with you about your requirement, and to keep records of our business relationship. Where you have enquired with us, we may contact you about similar services. You can opt out of marketing at any time.
Our lawful bases. We process your information because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and where processing is in our legitimate interests as an accommodation provider (responding to enquiries, operating and improving our services, keeping business records). Where we send marketing, we rely on legitimate interests or your consent, depending on the circumstances.
Who we share it with. We share booking information with the accommodation providers and service partners needed to deliver your stay, and with the service providers who run our systems (website hosting, email, analytics and communications tools). We do not sell your information. We may disclose information where the law requires it.
International transfers. We are headquartered in the UK and operate in Dubai. Where your information is transferred outside the UK, including to our Dubai operations or to guests’ destination providers, we take steps to protect it in line with UK data protection law, including appropriate safeguards where required.
How long we keep it. We keep enquiry and booking records for as long as needed to manage the relationship and to meet legal, accounting and insurance requirements, and we review retention periodically. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights. Under UK data protection law you have rights over your personal information, including the right to access it, correct it, ask for it to be deleted, restrict or object to its processing, and data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact bookings@perigon-living.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
